Okay, everybody, it’s that time of year again—time to ring in a new year! I hope 2018 was all that you wanted it to be or close enough and you are all pumped and ready to add to your many successes for 2019. However, if you are like me who had a “less than desirable” 2018 (to put it euphemistically), then it is still time to get pumped and make 2019 your bitch! As customary, it is time for them good ole New Year’s Resolutions! More importantly, especially for me, it is time to put some of the advice in the previous blogs into practice. How do you achieve anything in life? (1) Know precisely what it is you want. (2) Believe wholeheartedly that you deserve it and will achieve it. (3) Develop a plan to get your desire. (4) Implement (or work) your plan consistently at the right time, in the right way. (5) Evaluate your progress and adjust fire as needed.
There are intermediary steps or actions, but read the past blogs to catch up. Firstly, let’s forget about resolutions, and instead let’s set goals for 2019. Here are a few of my goals for 2019: (1) I will grow my blog audience to at least 365 people by the end of the year (that is one person per day for the entire year). I currently have zero persons registered on my blog. (2) I will publish my first children’s book within the first quarter of 2019. The book is with the publisher now, and it is mostly up to them how soon it gets published, but I am nudging them along. We will see. (3) I will sell a minimum of 250,000 books by the end of 2019. (4) I will complete another children’s book before the end of the second quarter of 2019 and submit it to the publisher. Now, I want to know some of your goals. Let’s hold each other accountable and help each other to achieve them goals so that we can all have a bummer 2019! Good luck!
